Arzak and Urgull

What a good decision! That day, 15th May, Primary 6 students visited Arzak restaurant. We walked from Beraun in a sunny morning. The restaurant was very cool!!! We were in the main rooms, the dining room, the kitchen, the wine cellar and the cooking laboratory. We got to know famous cooks and Elena Arzak gave us delicious chocolate as a present.

After that, we went walking till Zurriola beach and through the Old Part we climbed Urgull mountain. Just there we visited the castle and we took photos from the top. At midday we had lunch and afterwards we played some games and had fun together. The weather was nice, not high temperatures but it was good for walking.

Through Ulia

May is a fantastic month to visit places. It is for that we decided to go to Ulia mountain. Have you ever been there? It is close to San Sebastian and it has got a lot of attractive places to discover.

Primary 3, 4 and 5 students prepared their rucksaks and they started the trip from Gros. We visited some special sites such as Kutraia fountain, Mompas viewpoint from which we saw Getaria town, some aqueducts from the Romans' period and the Silver lighthouse.Afterwards, we had lunch, played games, knew more about our vegetation and we had time to see giant cruissers in Pasaia Port.

The weather was nice, cloudy and warm.

PlayMais

Secondly, we worked with PlayMais, dough made of corn. It’s safe, simple, colourful and amazing. With a little of imagination you can build lovely figures.

Anything else? Yes

Farm animals with modelling clay

Firstly, we worked with modelling clay or plasticine. The shapes seem easy but they are not. I’ve noticed that some of the pupils have difficulties to work with it then it could be a good idea to practise more at home.

San Sebastian Day

As you can see, we remembered Saint Sebastian Day with some drums and drummers.
